 Welcome traders, travellers and locals!
At Vauldalen you can experience the traditional Røros Market, which begins on the second last Tuesday in February. Give a warm welcome to Norway to the farmer-traders from Sweden. The evening meal consists of traditional local food, accompanied by music and song by our Swedish guests. The party continues in our cosy sitting-room until the small hours.
During the market, you will find us in the Tufta area of Røros. We have brought along the lavvo, the open fire and the hearty mountain atmosphere. We serve coffee, tea, cocoa and potato bread (lemse) from 11 am to 5 pm, a meal from 1 pm to 5 pm, beer, wine and wine toddy from 11 am, and liquor from 1 pm. "Come into the lavvo if you like, whether you're hungry or thirsty. There's music and song, and a good laugh too!"

- en helg med god tradisjonsrik mat, klær, utstilling og tur med hest og slede til Gruvsjøen.
En forbonde var ofta en lantman som drygade ut sin försörjning att mot betalning ta åt sig olika körslor. Fôra är et fornnordisk ord och kommer från lågtyskans vore som betyder färd, lass, besäktad med ordet fara.

 Bli med oss og opplev en god gammeldags påskeferie på Vauldalen Fjellhotell.
Hos oss smetter du på deg skiene rett utenfor døra. Med ferdigsmurt matpakke og en termos med noe godt i ligger alt til rette for en herlig dag i påske fjellet. Vi har oppkjørte løyper og hvite vidder så langt øye rekker. Middager med god hjemmelaget mat.

 In February 2005 we opened the first section of our new conference centre, with a conference hall for 100 participants. We have already received positive feedback from our guests. We offer first-class equipment, large windows and plenty of fresh mountain air.
